NEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS. TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS FOR NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS. WELLINGTON-FOXTON-PALMERSTON NORTH. ON IST JANUARY (NEW YEAR’S DAY).—With the exception of the Wellington-Auck-land Up and Down Ordinary Express trains, the Down AucklandWellington Extra Express train, the Up and Down Wellington-New Plymouth and Wellington-Napier Mail trains, the 7.0 a.m. PalmerstonWellington and 4.15 p.ra. Welling-ton-Palmerston trains, which will run as usual, the ordinary timetable will be suspended. Special trains will run as below FOR PALMERSTON NORTH. —Foxton dep q.o a.m., 5.45, 5.0, 5.15 p.m. (For Feilding.) FOR FOXTON. —Palmerston dep 8.40, 9.10, 10.2 a.m; (ex Feilding), 8.5 p.m. Express and Mail trains will make the usual stops. FRIENDLY SOCIETIE’S SPORTS AT FOXTON, IST JANUARY, 1910. Trains leave Palmerston North 8.40, 9.10 and 10.2 a.m. (ex Feilding.) Return trains leave Foxton at 4.45, 5.0 (for Terrace End), and 5.15 p.m. (for Feilding). The 10.2 a.m. and ,4.45 p.m. will not stop between Palmerston North and Racecourse for passengers. Goods traffic will be suspended on Ist January. For full particulars see handbills. BY ORDER. MARTIN, of the Avenue, has been appointed Registrar of Dogs for the Borough of Foxton. The fee for dogs is TOs, but will be reduced to 5s if paid before the 31st January, 1910, after which date the full fee of 10s will be charged, and sued for without further notice.
