A DOMESTIC TRAGEDY.

Auckland, Dec. 29. Geo. Oliver, a resident of Kingsiand, who is alleged to have been drinking lately, is stated to have called his wife into the bedroom and fired two shots at her, the bullets going through one of her hands. The wife and son rushed Oliver and wrested the revolver from him. Oliver then cut his throat with a razor. He was taken to the hospital badly injured, but is expected to recover.
