TARIFF REFORM.

Lodon, Saturday. Lord Curzon, addressing a meeting attended by 3500 people at Derby, said the Tariff reform would enable the exaction of a substantial tribute for the foreigner. The movement had progressed greatly amongst the Intellectual classes, manufacturers and workers. If the Unionists were returned they would be able easily to produce a Budget and construct a tariff which would begin by imposing a uniform duty on foreign manufacturers with preference to colonial and Indian produce. He declared that Home Rule was more dangerous than formerly because if the Liberals are returned, there disappears the last barrier against disintegration.
