HEMP MARKET. The High Commissioner cabled to us at noon yesterday as follows; —Hemp market quiet, but firm; good business done in New Zealand hemp; last quotations, good fair spot, ,£2B 10s ; fair £27 los ; January-March shipments, and £2^ ; Manila hemp weaker as result of heavy arrivals. Manila output 28,000 bales.
