DRIVER’S ENTERTAINMENT.
'.' A CEEVER EXHIBITION, Driver’s entertainment of magic and mysticism was attended by a jumper house in the Public Hall ast night- His conjuring tricks 'ere marvellous and bewildering. Vhe climax of the entertainment ■as the production of “ apports ” the form of birds’ nests con- ' ■' ming several kinds of birds’ eggs ?>ens’ eggs, and a very realistic ' 'looking snake. Before going into . the cabinet, Mr Driver was divesof his clothing by two local ■' 3n, and thoroughly searched ad clothed in a pyjama suit, •.. bich had been previously exained. He was placed in a bag. a lie top of which was tied securely ' ;..iund his neck and wrists. While ||f bus handicapped, and without the lights being lowered, he outdid Bailey by producing the f? apports we have mentioned. . He referred to Bailey as a trickster. His feats were loudly applauded. He also produced, while bound and tied to a chair in .his cabinet and with the hall ' in darkness, mater i’r(‘[ alised spirit forms—rather weird/•;,looking apparitions which glided • about in front of the, cabinet. |S||:These 'forms were, preceded by Mysterious lights.
