NOMINATIONS for all events (except Trial Hack Race, Ist day and Maiden Hack Scurry, 2nd day), close with the Secretary, at Foxton, on Thursday, January 6th, 1910, at g p.m. WEIGHTS will be declared on or about January 14th. ACCEPTANCES for First Day and entries for Trial Hack Race (Ist day) and Maiden Hack Scurry (2na day), close on Thursday, January 18th, at 9 p.m. WEIGHTS for Second Day’s races will be declared on Saturday, January 22nd, at about 8 p.m. ACCEPTANCES close same evening at 9.30 o’clock. Entries by telegraph must be confirmed at earliest opportunity and name of trainer given, also colours of rider. No horse will be allowed to start whose fees are unpaid. The stewards reserve the right to alter the date or time for receiving nominations and acceptances las they may deem fit. PENALTIES. Flat Races : The winner of any flat race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of lolb, and of any additional race a further penalty of ylbs. Horses handicapped at Bst. lolb. or over, to carry half the above penalties. The winner of any hurdle race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of IQlbs. in the hurdle race, and of any additional race a further penalty of ylbs, or if the handicapper deems fit he mav increase the penalties.
