PARLIAMENT.
The debate on the Financial Statement will be opened by Mr Massey in the House this evening. The general opinion is still that the debate will probably be of short duration. For this afternoon the Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Bill (discussed in committee), State Guaranteed Advances Bill, and other measures that have no chance of being reached, are set down on the Order Paper.
