BRENNAN'S MONO-RAIL.
London, November 11
Mr Louis Brennan, inventor of the Brennan torpedo and the gyroscope, very successfully ran a gyroscopic car 40ft long and 10ft wide, carrying forty passengers, on a mono-rail, using two gyroscopes 3 Yz ft in diameter and mak--3000 revolutions a minute. The passengers changed sides while the car was in motion. It is stated that Mr Brennan contemplates constructing a monorail in Australia, with carriages 150 ft long and 20ft broad, »and with two stories.
