MODTOA DRAINAGE BOARD ELECTION. TO THE ELECTORS. It is my intention to be a candidate for the position of Trustee at the forthcoming election, and if elected will do my best in the interests of the ratepayers as a whole. I claim that my practical experience of drainage work and intimate knowledge of the locality place me in a position to be useful, if elected, to the ratepayers. My attitude having been misrepresented for purposes I need not enlarge on, I may say that I have i no personal axe to grind, and wish to see the scheme carried out economically, without favour to any, so that rates are not unnecessarily raised.
