MANAWATU ROWING CLUB.

A meeting of the Committee of the Manawatu Rowing Club was held in the Herald Office on Tuesday afternoon. Present: Messrs Morgan (chairman), Gabites, Gillespie and Hornblow (secretary). The question of opening the season was discussed, and it was decided that the opening take the form of an afternoon tea at the shed, arrangements for which were left in Messrs Morgan and Hornblow’s hands.

The matter of an outing on the river was left to the captain to decide.

It was resolved that keys be Issued to members only on payment of subscriptions.

Other minor matters were discussed and the meeting terminated.
