THE DOMINION S EXPORTS.

Wellington, October 2.

The export of gold from New Zealand during the nine months ending Thursday last was 372,520 ounces, valued at .£1,480,858, being a decrease of 17,922 ounces, of a value of £63,373, compared with the figures tor the corresponding period last year. The silver exported during the last nine months totalled 1,351,233 ounces, valued at £134,709, which is 1x2,916 ounces, of a value of £BBI2, more than the first three-quarters last year. Last month’s export of gold was 40,922 ounces, valued at £162,733, or 12,201 ounces of a value of £47,266 less than in September last year. The quantity of silver exported last month was 220,397 ounces of a value of £22,020, being an increase of 29,7x0 ounces, of a value of £2785 over the figures for the corresponding period of 1908.
