Guy Edwards and Vicror Betty each converted a try. The Himatangi boys showed some good individual play, but the Foxton boys displayed superior combination —their passing being much admired. Master Guy Edwards, captain of the Foxton team called for three cheers for the ladies, after which Mr Raikes, headteacher of Himatangi school congratulated the Foxton boys on their excellent win, and endorsed the previous speaker’s remarks on the excellent behavious of the boys.
