Auckland, Sept. 28. At the Police Court George F. Rahcovitch was fined ,£25 and costs for selling wiue without a liceuse. Mr Cutteu, S.M., replying to defendant’s solicitor, expressed the opinion that defendant, being a wholesale wine merchant, was entitled to have a large quantity of wine on his premises, but he declined to make an order foi the return of a large quantity of liquor seized by the police. Notice of appeal was given.
