The following is a statement of the assets and liabilities in the estate of Chas. T. Easton, butcher, Foxton :

Unsecured creditors :—Wellington, Murray, Roberts and Co., Geo. Coley, ;.Nash and Co., A. S. Easton, £800; Christchurch, Berry and Co., Arlow and Co,, £9; Palmerston, Barraud and Abraham, £7 ; W. Cook, £7 15s ; Dunedin, Gregg, £5 ; total, 15s. The only assets are the book debts totalling and estimated to be worth the deficiency thus being /1316 15s. The first meeting of creditors is being held at Palmerston to-day at Mr Scott’s office.
