THE WARATAH.
The fate of the missing Waratah still remains unknown (says the Melbourne Herald), but it is hoped that the official search now being * made will. bring definite news. Statements which have been made to representatives of the Herald, however, are not reassuring. Mr James Stewart, of Albert-road, Albert Park, who came out from Glasgow when the Waratah made her maiden trip at the end of last year, says that his experience of the vessel was that she was top-heavy. “This opinion,” he says, “was shared by others. , In heavy weather she .constantly rolled aad listed.” 1
