HEMP MARKET.
The High Commissioner cabled at noon yesterday as follows: —The hemp market is steady and no transactions of importance are reported, New Zealand good fair grade, on spot per ton, £26 ; New Zealand fair grade, on spot per ton, £25 ; fair current Manila, on spot per ton, £25 ; October-Decem-ber shipments, New Zealand good fair, per ton, £25 15s ; New Zealand fair grade, per ton, 15s ; fair current Manila, £2\ 10s; Manila output 20,000 bales.
