WIRELESS ON STEAMERS.

IyONDOa, August 27. In the House of Commons the Hon. Winston Churchill, in reply to Mr J. Seddon, who referred to the Waratah, suggesting an inquiry into the various wireless systems with a view to making au installation compulsory on all vessels carrying passengers, remarked that such installations were desirable, but he did not think the time had come for action of a compulsory or general character. He was glad that they were appointing a committee of experts to revise the rules for use of electrical plant in mines.
