DROWNED.

Reefton, August 30,

The body of A. R. Baxter, a Singer Sewing Machine agent, who was drowned in the Little Grey River, 011 July 27, was recovered yesterday. At the inquest a verdict of accidentally drowned was returned. The jury added a rider, pointing out that the Little Grey River was the only river on the main road from Motupiko to Ross not bridged, and urged that the work should be done, as the ford was one of the most dangerous on the Coast.
