Fraser on behalf of Mrs Edith Nye, presented to the Council a lile-sized photograph of the late Mr George Nye in a handsome frame, to be hung in the Council Chamber. The late Mr Nye had twice been Mayor of Foxton. The IjAotograph was much admired, and the Mayor subsequently instructed the Town Clerk to convey to Mrs E. Nye the thanks of the Council for her handsome gift.
