CRICKET.

The match Australia v Lancashire was concluded on Saturday, and resulted in a win for the visitors by 47 runs. The Australians who had lost four wickets for 21 runs on the previous day, resumed their innings. The last wicket fell with the score at 214, of which Armstrong contributed 72, and Trumper 54. Hopkins bowled splendidly, accounting for six wickets for the very small cost of 16 runs.
