S.S. HIMATANGI.

SUCCESSFULLY HAULED OFF.

The Himatangi was successfully hauled into the channel at the mouth of the river this morning, and arrived at the wharf. She discharged what remained of her cargo, about 15 tons, and sailed for Wellington at‘2 p.m. On Monday she will be placed on the slip, and a formal enquiry will be held.

Capt. Bendall states that he has surveyed the ship inside and out and finds that she has practically sustained no damage. Capt. Bendall returned to Wellington on board the Himatangi.
