THE STRANDED HIMITANGI.
The stranded Hitnitangi was shifted about three lengths seawards to-day. The towing was done by meatig of a sea anchor, and had this stood the strain it is probable the vessel would now be afloat. Heavier Sea anchors are being sent from Wellington. All the coal, excepting between 40 and 50 tons, has been thrown overboard. Capt. Bendall, Lloyd’s surveyor, has inspected the vessel. 1
