MOUTOA NOTES.

(Own Correspondent.)

It is estimated that 700 cows were milked last season at Moutba; that, is between the Manawatu, railway, near Shannon, and the Foxtbn borough boundary. Messrs Barber Bros. intend starting another dairy of 60 cows, and with a general increase all round, the number should be near 700 tor the coming season. If two of best farms now used for fattening were used for dairying, the -numbers - would be well over 1000.
