Everybody is talking of the advent of the Frolics’ Comedy Concert Company, and we should add, anxious for the time to pass which brings their opening performance. However, Monday night is not far distant, and luckily our musical comedy treat is soon to be. We have endorsed the standard and personnel of “The Frolics” as society, entertainers of a high standard, and from every indication feel satisfied that our contention will be more than endorsed by our readers. Be sure to hear the Frolics introduce themselves. They are sufe to say and sing something you have not heard before, and it is guaranteed to be funny. The concerted items of the company, “Bye and Bye,’’ and, isn’t it Wonderful,” are worthhearing. alone, and we are informed that these have produced as many as six re-calls. It feels good to laugh, and laugh heartily, at something worth laughing at — said an American philosopherwell, this pleasing experience is guaranteed to all who attend the performance of the Frolics on Monday night. Reports from the northern papers quite bear out the Statements emanating from tire management re “ The Frolics’ ’’ entertaining abilities. We are pleased to have this assurance as a guarantee for pur readers that “The Frolics” are artists with talent to amuse and entertain, such as rarely falls to our lot to enjoy.
