THE FOXTON BAR.
The pilot reported on the bar for the month of June as follow s : At high water spring tides, i oft and lift;, at high water heap tides, 7ft. The bar worked more to the: south, giving a' straighter entrance. The river is good at all crossings, at present, no vessels ‘ having struck. :
