The Timber Commission arrived at a unanimous decision after a series of compromises. The Evening Post says the Commission finds that the importation of Oregon has not menaced the local industry. Builders wanted the Oregon long lengths, but an increase of is in the duty on short lengths is recommended. The Commission finds that the price of timber has not been unduly high, and will recommend that more encouragement be given to afforestation.
Why Is SANDER AND SON'S PURE VOLATILE EUCALYPTI EXTRACT superior to any other eucalyptus product ? Because it is the result of full experience, and of a special and careful process of manufacture, and the dangers attending the use of the irresponsible preparations which are now palmed off as “ Extracts ” are avoided. A death was recently reported from the use of one of these concoctions, an 1 at an action-at-law a sworn witness testified that he suffered the most cruel irritation from the application to an ulcer of anothe which was sold as just as good as Sander’s extract. Therefore, beware of such deception I Remember that a drop that cures is better than a tablespoonful that kills, and insist upon the preparation which was proved by experts at the Supreme Court of Victoria, and by numerous authorities during the past 35 years to be a product oi genuine merit, viz., the genuine SANDER AND SONS* PURE VOLATILE eucalypti extract. Chemists and stores. —Advt.
Mrs Cromer, Percy-street, Geelong writes:—“Acting on tiie advice of a friend of mine, I bought a bottle of Chamberlain’s Cough Remedy to give my little girl, who was suffering with a very bad attack of Croup. I am pleased to say that after a few doses relief was obtained, and before the bottle was finished my little girl was able to go to school again. I will always recommend Chamberlain’s Cough Remedy to my friends as being the best I have ever used.” For sale everywhere.— Advt.
