' Archbishop Clarke disclaimed the request of the Council of Churches to set apart a frabour Sunday for sermons devoted to social and economic questions, on the ground that the judgment of the Church on the whole question was contained in the diocesan report, and the whole annual commemoration of the Christian’s duty was set forth in the Prayer Book.
