THE SCOW ECHO ASHORE.

Karamea, May 24. “Scow Echo went ashore yesterday on south side Karamea River, Crew safe.” The scow Echo is an auxiliary vessel of 99 tons register, and is owned by the Karamea Steam Ship Company, and Captain Fletcher is in command. She is usually engaged in the West Coast timber trade. She left Foxton last Saturday.
