CHILD DROWNED IN A WELL.
Taihape, May 22. A child named Violet Mary Foster, aged three years, daughter of a labourer, was drowned in a well near a house at Utiku yesterday. She had only been missing five minutes. Eife was not extinct when the body was recovered, but the child died before a doctor arrived.
