MID-WINTER SALE AT G. H. STILES. On Saturday May ‘29nd will commence a two weeks’ mid-winter sale. This unique event ri b ht in the middle of the season is rather unfortunate for Ihe proprietor who, is thus compelled to sacrifice profit when goods are most needed. This sale has been brought about for the most part through over indenting and a large stock of goods arriving some months before the due time. While this has been unfortunate it is a splendid opportunity for the public to lay in a winter stock at bai*gain prices. As this firm takes stock next month a speedy clearance must be made of all surplus goods. The sale will last for two weeks’ only.— A DVT.

Why Is SANDER AND SON'S PURE VOLATILE EUCALYPTI EXTRACT superior to any other eucalyptus product ? Because it is the result of full experience, and of a special and careful process of manufacture, and the dangers attending the use of the irresponsible preparations which are now palmed off as “ Extracts ” are avoided. A death was recently reported from fho use of one ol these concoctions, an I at an actiuu-al-,law a sworn witness testified that Insuffered the most cruel irritation from the application to an ulcer of anoihe which was sold as just as good as Sander’s extract.
