NO-LICENSE LEAGUE.

The Council of the Manawatu No-Yicense Yeague held its monthly meeting at Sanson yesterday. Delegates from every part of the district were present. The special business of the session was the adoption of a new constitution. A committee had been set up at the previous meeting to submit a new constitution, which, with a few unimportant amendments, was adopted. Mr Isitt, ot Wellington, Secretary of the N.Z. Alliance, being present, gave helpful advice on several points, which were thankfully received. The committee which drew up the constitution, were also commissioned to bring in a draft of conditions under which an organiser should be appointed- The draft submitted having been adopted, it was decided to call for applications for the position of organiser and elect office bearers for the following year. The meeting rose at 5.30 p.m.
