AUSTRABIAN CHAMPIONSHIP. WON BY MISS POWDREBB. Sydney, May 2. The weather was fine but wintry for the tenuis tournament. Miss Powdrell had a comparatively easy victory over the New South Wales champion. Miss Powdrell also beat Miss Thomas, Victoria, in the Badies’ Single Handicap, 6—3, 9 —7. In the Badies’ Double Handicap Mrs Goldie and Miss Grey play the final to-morrow.
