Auckland, April 23. The crew of the tug boat Stella, which capsized on Hora Hora bar, were three-quarters of an hour in the surf and had a terrible struggle to reach the shore. An ordinary seaman named WCampbell was drowned. Dannevirke, April 23. Louis Brown, aged 32, single, was drowned In a well at Ormondville this morning. The well was just completed, and deceased, went down to clear some debris floating on the surface, and was apparently overcome by foul air and fell into the water. Ashburton, April 22. A man named Scanlon, an employee of Thomas Langley, farmer, of Dromore, was found dead in bed in his hut yesterday. "Wellington, April 22. A female patient at the hospital named Louie Eastbury, who was admitted on Tuesday, was missed from her bed on Wednesday night and was subsequently found in the coal hole in a state of collapse. She died to-day. At the inquest the coroner found that death was due to delirium tremens.
