ILLEGAL SALE OF LIQUOR.
hotelkeeper convicted. W. G. Moorhouse, licensee of the Family Hotel at Manakau, appeared before Mr A. D. Thomson, S.M., at Levin on Friday, to answer a charge alleging that he had illegally sold liquor on Sunday, the 28th February last. A similar charge was laid against S. Duff. The Bench convicted defendant, A fined him £io t with costs ; no ol license. The case againt Duff was withdrawn.
