We received woid from Wellington this morning, announcing the death of the mother of Mr G. W. Morgan, local agent for Messrs Fevin and Co. Miss Voysey, of the local State school staff, has been selected as an assistant at the Taihape High School, and will take up her new duties on the 13th prox. The wedding of Mr W. A. Fongworth, of Ashhurst, to Miss Rimmer, daughter of Mr T, Rimmer, of Thynne Street, will take place to-morrow.
