Mr Rae-Howard notifies that he has just landed 45 cases of Nelson and Frimley peaches, which must be quilled to-day at 3s and 2s 6d per case, also 10 cases of tomatoes.
The services in the Methodist Church to-morrow will be conducted in the morning by the Rev P. J. Mairs, and the evening service will be taken by Mr W. Harris.
Messrs Ross and Co,, of the Bon Marche, announce their first showing of autumn and winter millinery, which is undoubtedly one of the most exquisitely fascinating displays ever accomplished by this progressive firm.*
The services will be taken in All Saints’ Church to-morrow by the Rev F. Mayo, M.A. Mr Mayo is vicar of Kimbolton, and is recently from Home. It is hoped church people will give him a hearty welcome during his visit here. From the church notices it will be observed that the services at the Presbyterian Church tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev G. K. Aitkeu. The subject at the evening service will be “ Salvation —the work of the Holy Spirit.”
