LICENSING BENCH NOMINATIONS.

The following gentlemen were nominated yesterday for positions on the Licensing Bench : Bowater, William Thomas (Feilding Road). Hornblow, John Knowles (Foxton), Letlxbridge, Bennet Perry (Turakina), Perry, Alfred Coriu (Rongotea), Purnell, Fred (Martou), Simpson, Robert Kirkpatrick (Mai ton), Sutcliffe, Harry (Martou). As only five candidates are required an election will be held on the 9th iust. The polling places will be the same as for the general election and the hours from 9 a.m., to 6 p.m.
