OBITUARY.

MRS JOHANSEN, AGED 66,

The wife of Mr Carl Johansen passed peacefully away at her residence, Thynne Street, at an early hour this morning. The immediate cause of death was heart trouble. The late Mrs Johansen was born in Christiania, Norway, in 1842, and accompanied her husband to New Zealand in 1872, taking up her residence in Foxton in 1895. During the past twelve months the deceased has been in very indifferent health. She leaves a husband to mourn his loss. The funeral will take place at 2.30 p.m. tomorrow (Wednesday).
