MR CLEMENT L. WRAGGE.

To-night at the Public Hall, Mr Clement L- Wragge, the renowned meteorologist and traveller, will make his only appearance in Foxton. His subject, “ The Majesty of Creation,” is the one that created such intense enthusiasm at the Town Hall, Wellington, recently, when hundreds were unable to gain admission. Besides being acknowledged as one of the greatest living meteorologists and astronomers, Mr Wragge possesses in a marked degree the happy faculty of presenting his subject in a style which, though strictly accurate and scientifically correct, is yet understood by the least learned or scientific of his hearers. In short, he appeals equally to the “ sarant ” who is seeking further enlightenment, and to the pleasureseeker who is there to be interested and amused. Mr Wragge will have the assistance of many exceptionally fine and beautifully coloured photographs and pictures, of celestial objects, taken by means of the “sensitized” plate at the wonderful Observatories of Lick and Paris. The popular prices charged should induce a large attendance. Mr Wragge will appear at Shannon ou Monday next.
