THE EASTER MANOEUVRES.
TO BE HELD IN THE ORINGI DISTRICT. W’eu,in.gton February 12. The Easter , manoeuvres for the Wellington! district will be held at Oriugi between Woodville and Dannevirke and it is expected they will be largely attended. The men go into camp on April 9th and remain till the 12th. Members of Defence Rifle Clubs will be mobilised at three centres —Te Aute, Palmerston North and Wanganui. The men will be trained in field firing, musketry and extended order movements. Billetting allowances will be granted,
