Holiday excursion TICKETS, available for return until 15th February, 1909, will be obtainable as under (except where ordinary fares are less). — On 20th, 21st and 22nd January —From Wanganui, Waiouru, Foxton, Wellington (both stations), Dannevirke, Grey town, Te Aro and intermediate stations—To Te Aro, Greytown, Dannevirke, Wellington (both stations), Foxton, Waiouru, Wanganui and inter mediate stations, or vice versa. These tickets will be available for break of journey at any station at which the train is timed to stop after 25 miles from issuing station. The usual 3.55 p.m. LongburnPalmerston North (Wellington dep. 10.10 a.m.) and u. 40 a.m. Palmerston North-Wellington trains will NOT run. Other trains will run as usual. WELLINGTON RACES AT TRENTHAM, 20th, 22nd AND 23rd JANUARY. HOLIDAY EXCURSION TICKETS, available for return until 15th February, 1909, will be obtainable from The Gorge, Porirua and intermediate stations to Wellington (Thorndou), on 19th January. FOXTON RACES, 22nd and 23rd JANUARY. Holiday Excursion Tickets to Foxton, available for return until 15th February, 1909, will be obtainable on 23rd January, from Feilding, Himatangi and intermediate stations (except where ordinary fares are less). NOTE. —On 22nd January, the general issue of excursion tickets covers Foxton (see above). Trains will run as under : 22nd January. FOR FOXTON, stopping at Racecourse. Palmerston North dep. 9.10 and 10.15 (ex-Feildiug) a.m., Himatangi 10.15, 10 -35 a-m----(Sanson train). The 10.15 a.m, train from Palmerston North will connect at Longburn with the 6.x0 a.m. special ex-Wellington Thorndou, and will not stop for passengers at Awapuni or at intermediate stations Longburn to Racecourse. FROM RACECOURSE.—For Palmerston North at 6.0 and 6.20 (for Feilding) p.m., and for Sanson at 5.40 p.m. The 6.0 p.m. train will not stop for passengers after leaving Racecourse. Other trains will stop at intermediate stations. 23rd January. FOR FOXTON, stopping at Racecourse. Palmerston North dep. 10.15 a.m., Himatangi 10.45 a.m. (Sanson train), and 11.22 a.m. The 10.15 a.m. train from Palmerston North will connect at Longburn with the 6,40 a.m. train ex-Paekakariki. FROM RACECOURSE. For Feilding at 6.20 p.m., and for Sanson at 5.55 p.m. In addition to above trains, the 12.0 noon Palmerston. North-Fox-ton and 3.10 p.m. Foxton-Pal-merston North trains will stop at Racecourse to set down or take up passengers.
