Acceptances for First Day and entries tor Trial Hack Race [lst day] and Maiden Hack Scurry [2nd day] close on Saturday, January 16th, at 1) p.m. Weights for Second Day's races will he declared on Friday, January 22nd, at about 8 p.m. Acceptances close same evening at 9.20 p.m. Entries by telegraph must be conlirmcd at earliest opportunity and name of trainer given also colours of rider. No horse will be allowed to start whoso fees arc unpaid. The stewards reserve the right to alter the date or time for receiving nominations and acceptances as they may deem lit. PENALTIES. Flat Races: The winner of any Hat race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of lOlbs, and of any additional race a further penalty of 71bs. 'Horses handicapped at Bst 101 b or over, to can y half the above penalties.
