MARRIAGE.
WADTO N—FAFEITA. T : A very interesting wedding.took place at the residence of Mr John Fafeita, Kelvin Grove, on the 24th December last,, wheix the Rev. G. K. Aitken united,in matrimony Mr. Harold Walton, of -the stock .de-. jßjpattment, and em t :fson of. T. Walton, schoolmaster at Eow&K Hutt, and Barbara, yourigefeV' daughter of Mr John Faleita’, ,!1 settler. The bride, who 1 WSs' : charmingly attired, was attended : by Miss Florrie Hall, of Kelburri,; Wellington.. Mr Ben Hounslow ! <. (Masterton) officiated as best man. v The bride was given away by her .- father. The bridegroom’s gift to the bride was a massive goldr-" bangle, and to the.- bridesmaid •a T ■ greenstone and gold s heart pendant and chain. The wedding ; gifts, Were numerous, costly, and useful. ~ About 50 guests partook of break-" *' fast in a large marquee on thebe' lawn, where the usual toasts weid honoured.
Mr and Mrs Walton have taken up their residence in Foxton, arid we extend to them, the usuaLgood wishes.
