BISHOP SELWYN.
Centenary Celebration
London, December 30,
The Bishops of Lichfield, Lincoln, Ely, Southwell, Auckland, and Melanesia are organising a movement to commemorate the hundredth anniversary of the birth of George Augustus Selwyn, first Bishop of New Zealand, by services on April 23 next (St. George’s Day). It is intended that the offerings shall be divided between Selwyn College, Cambridge, and the Patteson wing of St John’s College, Auckland.
