His new owner touched , him up a bit, and offered him tor sale at the yards, when he was repurchased by his original owner for £2l. Some weeks ago a local farmer wanted a horse for' his spring - cart, and approached a dealer, who happened to have ian animal that would suit, but: the price asked didn’t. There was a difference of £3, the dealer wanting and’the farmer offering £ls. Rather than lose the chance « of the sale, the dealer dropped ~ price to 10s, but still the j farmer was obdurate—he value ot a horse when he Well, the deal did not and the dealer sent the Dannevirke yards the week, when be brought the Woodville farmer was chaser 1 / Curtain.'"
