WEDDING BELLS.
COLEY—WALLIS,
A very quiet wedding took place at the residence ot Mr Thos. Henderson, on December 22nd, when William H. Coley, eldest son of the late Mr W. J. Coley, was married to Christina Annie, youngest daughter of Mrs W. Wallis. The bride, who was given away by Mr Henderson, looked charming in a white dress of embroidered muslin, and wore the orthodox veil and orange blossoms. Miss Minnie Withers, of Raveusbourne, Dunedin, acted as bridesmaid, and wore a pretty dress of white muslin and orange ribbons. Mr T. Williams, uncle of the bridegroom, acted as best man, and the Rev. G. K. Aitken officiated at the ceremony. The bridal party left by the afternoon coach amidst showers of rice. The bride’s travelling dress was a navy blue costume trimmed with blue and white silk braid, a cream silk front, and a white hat trimmed with white lace and cream roses. The presents were both useful and numerous.
