INQUEST.
An inquest touching the death 1 of Violet Katherine McEwen, aged one year and nine months, was held before Alf! Fraser, Esq., District Coroner, at the local Court- • house this morning. Ethel May McEwen, mother of deceased, deposed that on Sunday * morning at 6.30 o’clock she got up and left the ■ deceased and her sister in bed. At five minutes to seven witness’s; little boy came into the room ;and said “Oh, mother come look at Tiney.” Witnesse’s husband brought deceased into the 'kitchen and her ' ' hair and clothes were afire. Her husband smothered the fire and drove to Foxtorf |br medical assistance. , ’
