Acceptance for First Day and en'ries for Trial Hack Race (Ist day) and Maiden Hack Scurry (2nd day) close on Saturday, January Kith, at 9 p.m. Weights for Second Day’s races will be declared on Friday, January 22nd, at about 8 p.m. Acceptances close same evening at 9.30 p.m. Entries by telegraph must be confirmed at earliest opportunity and name of trainer given, also colours of rider. No horse will be allowed to start whose fees arc unpaid. The stewards reserve the right to alter the date or time for receiving nominations and acceptances as they may deem fit. Penalties. — Flat races : the winner of any flat race after the declaration of weights to carry a penally of lOlhs, and of any additional race a further penalty of 71bs, Horses handicapped at Bst 101 b or over, to carry half the above penalties.
