It Because he has rendered the Liberal Party and the Country signal service as a Financial adviser and r.ctuaiy, and would be a greht acquisition in the House. 12 Because he is a Champion of “Clean Administration.” 13 Because he is a Broadminded Man, and would favour State Aid to Catholic Schools in event of the Bible being introduced in State Schools. 14 Because he is a Just Man, and the ugh a Strong Supporter of “No-License and the Baie Majority” would favour Compensation to Licensees in event ot that issue being introduced. 15 Because he is a man of learning and education, and is respected by all Sections of the Community and would carry weight in the House. 16 Because men of his stamp and ability are badly needed in the House. 17 Because he desires New Zealand to Advance on Sound Progressive Lines. 18 Because he has Hie courage of his opinions— says what be means, and means what he says. 19 Because his exceptional ability, Sterling Character and wide expeiience of men and things, gained abroad, in conjunction with his full knowledge of New Zealand affairs, specially fit him for a seat in the House. 20 Mr Frankland’s graceful and manly act in retiring in favour of and working hard for Mr Stevens, in order to avoid splitting the Liberal vole at last election, entitles him to special consideration now. Mr Frankland-is the son of the late Sir Edward Fraukland, the eminent English Scientist who was an associate of the Darwin —Huxley—Tyndall Coterie.
