MAIN TRUNK LINE.
The following is the final detailed time-table for the two days’ through service on the Main Trunk line, commencing on (November 9 :—Auckland to Wellington : Leave Auckland 10 a.m. arrive Frankton 1.20; leave Frankton 1.45 p.m., arrive Taumarunui 6.50 p.m. Second day —Leave Taumarunui 6 a.m., Waiouru 10 a.m., Taihape 11.20 a.m., Marton 2.6 p.m., arrive Wellington 7.20 p.m. Wellington to Auckland: Leave Wellington 7.50 a.m., Marton 2.15 p.m., Taihape 5.30 p.m., arrive Ohakune 8 p.m. Second day—Leave Ohakune 6 a.m. Taumarunui 8.35 a.m., arrive Frankton 1.5 p.m; leave Frankton 1.40 p.m, arrive Auckland 5 p.m. On both journeys trains are changed at Frankton. Fares : Single—Firstclass, 39s id; second-class, 2is 2d. Return fares, twice the sums mentioned. No alteration will be made to the other passenger service, except that the train from Waiouru to Wellington will leave Waiouru at 10 a.m. instead of 8.10 a.m,, to connect at Marton with the downward mail train from New Plymouth.
